SECTION IV TROUBLESHOOTING
Safety Note: Disconnect power cord from machine prior to test
2. Shave Button (*) Blinks Jam in shaver section has shut down machine and activated warning light.
a. Check for large chunks of ice (use new ice-cubes)
b. Check for foreign object causing jam (remove object)
c. Check for broken hex (replace hex) note: use ON/OFF switch to reset (leave off for 10 seconds before turning on)
d. Shaver motor failure (replace motor) -Refer to Field Repair and Data Sheet for motor testing
3. Blend Button (@) Blinks Jam in blender section has shut down machine and activated warning light.
a. Reset machine and press blend button without cup first
b. Repeated jam indicates probable blender motor failure (replace motor) -Refer to Field Repair and Data Sheet for motor testing note: use ON/OFF switch to reset
DAILY CLEANING PROCEDURES
Shave ice from the ice hopper using the manual shave button. Leave a few ice cubes in hopper.
Never pour water into hopper to melt ice.
Remove the hopper lid and pour 4 oz. of sanitizing solution into hopper and shave the remaining ice.
Turn off machine and unplug.
Remove hopper and lid, wipe clean with sanizer and set aside to dry.
Pour 4 oz. of sanizer into drain where blender cup is seated
Wipe clean the exterior of the machine with sanizer. Make sure to clean ice chute and blender cup area
Reassemble hopper and splash guard. Leave lid off overnight to air dry inside of machine.

RETURNING PARTS Any parts replaced on warranty must have a “Return Material Tag” which must be filled out by you and sent to Island Oasis.
NOTE: Most service calls are due to lack of proper cleaning. The daily use of sanitizer will help eliminate needless service calls and reduce down-me.
